Duncan calls for debate on Climate Change

Duncan has requested that a debate is held in the House of Commons to discuss the Government’s plans for the upcoming UN Climate Change Conference in Cancun.

In a recent Backbench Business Committee meeting, Duncan explained that a debate could fuel much discussion, referring back to previous debates which lasted many hours.

In addition, he indicated that there is cross-party support from many new MPs, of which nearly 50 are under 35, to discuss the targets laid out for achievement by 2050.
